Master Haircutter, Session Stylist, and L’Oreal Professionnel National Educator Erica Lee Moomey is a force to be reckoned with. Her strong educational background combined with an undeniably creative mind allow Erica to construct innovative, ready to wear styles for all, making her one of Saint Louis’ most sought after stylists. In 2020 Erica joined the team at Smith + Simms Hair Co. where she identifies as both Artistic Director and Lead Stylist.

As a L’Oreal Professionnel National Educator Erica goes far beyond facilitating advanced cutting and styling techniques. By customizing her classes to positively influence stylists from all over the country, she motivates her peers to be confident not only within their craft but within themselves. She hopes through the power of human connection she can inspire others to genuinely love who they are as unique individuals

Erica’s trendsetting and thought-provoking collections have been featured worldwide by leading industry brands such as: Access, Hair.com, Hairbrained, Elevate Hair, Estetica Magazine, Modern Salon, Bang Style, Beauty Launchpad, Unique Art, and the Professional Beauty Association. Moomey was awarded 2021 and 2019 MHA Hairdresser of the Year, her Avant Garde Collections have placed both second and third in the ICA Intercoiffure-Keune Excellence in Hair Awards in both 2017 and 2018. Erica is a regular backstage at fashion shows including Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week, TRIBUTE Fashion Fest, and Saint Louis Fashion Week. She has styled alongside Charlie Price as part of The Beauty Underground, and the international Avant Garde hair legend Charlie Le Mindu.
